On our second day in London, we did a London Tour on our own, with just a map and an oyster card. I wanted to see the famous London Bridge. But I was informed that the famous bridge is actually called the Tower bridge. The tower bridge connects the city that is divided by the River Thames.
The Tower Bridge , named after its two impressive towers, is one of London’s best known landmarks. This Victorian Bridge is now more than 100 years old.
St. Katherine’s Docks.
Situated next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, St Katharine Docks has been the focus of worldwide trade and commerce for over 1000 years.
The Tower of London became a World Heritage Site in 1988. The White Tower was built on the Thames by William the Conqueror to protect London and assert his power following the Norman invasion. The Tower of London was built around the White Tower, and developed over the years.
The Monument

The Monument to the Great Fire of London, more commonly known as The Monument, is a 202 ft (61.57 metre) tall stone Roman Doric column in the City of London, England near to the northern end of London Bridge.
