My friend Ton, who is based in Dubai, posted this photo of post card for swapping. I was fortunate enough to be the first to comment to get this postcard, in exchange to the post card I collected from Melbourne, Australia. I bought a bunch when I was there to send to friends but somehow they didn’t make it to the post office. Really, my apologies.

I am not so much into post card swapping but when I saw that the postcard featured Burj Khalifa, I thought it would be nice to receive a post card like this.

Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. According to wikipedia, the design of Burj Khalifa is derived from patterning systems embodied in Islamic architecture. According to the structural engineer, Bill Baker, the building’s design incorporates cultural and historical elements particular to the region.

Like I said in my previous post, I would so one day, love to visit and see Burj Dubai.
